I liked the idea of forming an Euro guild and "singed in" back on the old forums before the split. After rediscovering the idea on the EQC boards, here I am =)
Ive played EQ starting with the release of Kunark till shortly before the release of OoW in 2004. I started out on Druzzil Ro but then got lured by a friend of mine to move to the german Kael Drakkal server when it opened. During my career I got to raid the Elemental Plains but being in amore casual guild at this time, I never managed it to set foot into Time. On raids, I have experienced being both pure DPS and part of a CHC (even if latter is not much of a value for EQC
).
Still, my fondest memories are from the Classic era of EQ before the intorduction of the Bazaar, instant travel and that stuff. I enjoyed raiding ToV and remember being there till 5/6am due to the (in Euro) terms weird raiding schedule of my guild. This is also the main reason Im interested in joining an Euro community, play times. I simply cannot afford to raid all night on a regular basis
At the moment Im full time playing Vanguard (*cough*) on the Euro server Halgar in a guild called Dogma which I founded with a few friends in August 06. Thus I have to admit that, while I'll be checking these boards regularly, I might be somewhat inactive before the EQC release is closing. I am a druid by nature and will bring Ardy to a new live here on EQC.
