Technical : how to use ISO file

in some case you receive ISO file (linux CD ... backup you made for yourself..... what else..)
:idea:

in a short description its a strict image of a CD /DVD

The question is : What can i do with that :?:

1) you can write it on a CD / DVD .... i dont have CD Writter :roll:

2) you can use it without writting it

Another option is Daemon Tools, which I actually prefer. Although I got the Pro Version. The lite version is free.

Same basic thing as the software mentioned already.
